Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Taj Carrier. By using our transport services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking our services.

1. Services Provided

Taj Carrier provides goods transport services on the Mumbai-Gujarat route using our fleet of Goods Trucks, Dumper Trucks, and Tempo Trucks. We do not provide warehouse or storage facilities. Our services are limited to the transportation of goods from pickup point to delivery point as agreed in the booking.

2. Booking and Confirmation

All bookings must be made through our official channels - phone, email, or website contact form. A booking is considered confirmed only after receiving a confirmation from our team. We reserve the right to accept or decline any booking request based on vehicle availability and operational feasibility.

3. Pricing and Payment

Transport charges are calculated based on distance, type of vehicle (Goods Truck, Dumper Truck, or Tempo Truck), weight/volume of goods, and any special requirements. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR). Payment must be made in full before dispatch of goods unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfers, UPI, and cash payments.

4. Customer Obligations

Customers must ensure that:

• All goods are properly packed and labeled for safe transport.
• Prohibited, illegal, or hazardous goods are not sent through our services.
• Accurate pickup and delivery addresses are provided.
• Goods are ready for pickup at the scheduled time.
• Customs and regulatory requirements (if applicable) are met by the customer.

5. Delivery Time

We strive to deliver all shipments on time. However, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Taj Carrier shall not be held liable for delays caused by traffic conditions, weather, road closures, government regulations, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

Taj Carrier's liability for any loss or damage to goods during transit is limited to the transport charges paid. We strongly recommend customers to insure their goods independently for their full value. We are not responsible for:

• Loss or damage due to improper packing by customer.
• Perishable goods that spoil during transit.
• Consequential or indirect losses.
• Goods with concealed defects.

7. Claims Procedure

Any claim for loss or damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Claims must be submitted in writing along with supporting evidence (photographs, delivery receipt, etc.). We reserve the right to inspect damaged goods before processing any claim.

8. Cancellation and Refund

Cancellations made 24 hours before scheduled pickup will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup will incur a 25% cancellation fee. Once goods are dispatched, no refunds are provided. In case of our inability to provide service, a full refund will be issued.

9. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from transport through our services: illegal drugs, explosives, flammable materials, firearms, hazardous chemicals, perishable food items (without prior agreement), live animals, cash and valuables, and any items prohibited by Indian law.

10. Force Majeure

Taj Carrier shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, riots, war, government actions, or transportation network disruptions.

11. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
